Natural Resource Conservation
We have a clear policy of "avoid, reduce & reuse" that governs our business practices with a strong emphasis on natural resource conservation. Incorporating new systems & technologies, we have always endeavored to be sensitive towards nature and its resources.
Fossil Fuel & Energy Conservation
- Hot air is recycled at the oven in the coating line to reduce energy consumption thereby also reducing the cost of production.
- Transparent sheets have been fixed in the roof-lines to increase incoming natural light.
- Coal consumption has been reduced by recycling hot air by modifying the old Thermaic Fluid Heater.
- Identification and replacement of low efficiency UPS systems.
- Identification and replacement of old motors with new and energy efficient motors.
- Identification and replacement of old copper-choke tube lights with new fluorescent tube lights.
- Through up-gradation and modernizing of equipment and bringing in best practices the coal, diesel and electrical consumption has reduced significantly.
- It is an ongoing process where we have taken the various measures to curb energy consumption
Rain Water Harvesting
Water is a priceless commodity; therefore. To arrest ground water decline and to augment water table, we have implemented a rain water harvesting system in our plant.
